You are welcome here.
Therapy begins like a memorable first-time friend meeting. We connect quickly, share deeply, and have a gut feeling this will lead to something good.
Here, you have a safe and supportive place to share your worries, insecurities, and heartaches—as well as joys, wishes, and wisdom
But we don’t stop there.
Our time together is special because I listen and affirm your experiences (that’s right – you’re not crazy!) and I help you untangle your specific feelings and situations so you can make real changes toward your goals.
Soon you will feel relief because you are not alone.
Take in a breath of fresh air.
We don’t always have the words to say what is happening. That’s why you feel stuck or like you’re talking in circles.
My approach to therapy is unique.
We will talk. But we’ll also write, diagram, draw, or imagine. (We may even paint or collage if you’re into that sort of thing!) This approach allows the deeper cause of your struggles to become more visible and easier for us to alleviate.
By combining traditional therapy with art therapy, brain science, and accessing the unconscious, the therapeutic results are supercharged. You’ll find you can effectively process your pain while gaining greater self-awareness—making your life more manageable as you move forward.
Soon, you will be able to breathe freer because the burdens of the past no longer hold you down.
It’s about inside. Outside. By your side.
You may be experiencing stress, anxiety, depression, or PTSD.
Physically, you feel uneasy. Your stomach tightens, pulse quickens, you feel ill, and can’t sleep. Sometimes you can’t even pinpoint what causes your symptoms.
Other times you’re stuck in your head; fear of rejection, thoughts of failing, lack of confidence, never feeling good enough, and constant worry are naggingly present.
Life on the outside feels overfull and chaotic or you feel trapped, like you can’t make any progress.
Listening holistically to your mind, body, and life situation we’ll get things back in sync. You’ll understand the meaning of your symptoms, learn how to manage them, and use them to help us find specific solutions to your problems.
Soon you will be able to envision a life that is calm on the inside, the outside feels in control, and you have me as an ally by your side each step of the way.
About Amy Bucciarelli
Let Me Be Your Beacon.
Stormy times happen to the best of us. I’m in the boat with you to navigate this difficult weather. Rest assured – blue skies are ahead.
Before I was a therapist, I was an elite athlete. I joined the therapy field 16 years ago. After doing a range of talk therapy to process a devastating career-ending injury, I drew one picture in an art therapy session and felt more healing than years of counseling sessions combined.
Since then, I’ve dedicated my time to create an effective counseling approach that combines traditional therapy with creative methods so that you can experience healing.
As a licensed mental health counselor and board-certified art therapist, I worked for years in medical settings. I have a heart for supporting healthcare professionals coping with burnout. I treated hundreds of patients who were living with cancer, waiting for a transplant, or had medical trauma.
During the most difficult and scary times in life I have helped people find peace and uncover deep meaning. We tapped into their true voice and from it great resilience emerged. Clients tell me our work together positively changed their entire lives!
I see my role as a therapist like a guide or teacher – think Yoda, Glenda the Good Witch, Dumbledore, or insert your favorite movie-hero mentor! You are the rising star of your epic fairytale. My part is to ensure you have the right tools, maps, and directions to get you to your happily ever after feeling.
In addition to being a therapist, I’m kind of nerdy. Years as a university professor allowed me to mentor students at pivotal moments in their lives. I love helping people figure out their true calling so they can live passioniately with purpose.
I am holding the light up ahead so you can see your way. Step out of the storm and come ashore. Your paradise is waiting for you!

When I’m not on deck as a therapist, I love to:
- Search for the best local taco,
- Ride my beach cruiser to catch a sunset,
- High-five at Florida Gator football games,
- Go to dance class! (I pretend I’m Cardi-B but look more like Napoleon Dynamite),
- Cuddle puppies. We have a Rottie who pretends she is a lapdog, and
- Travel adventures – the Grand Canyon and Machu Pichu are next on my list!
Let’s Dive In.
I want to help you find where inspired living meets deep healing.
Some people think that focusing on yourself in therapy is selfish. You think “Counseling would be a nice thing to feel better but I really need to focus on my upcoming work deadline, giving my partner more time, or better coordinating my family’s activities.”
I’m inviting you to give this gift to yourself now. Our work together will not only give you relief, but it will positively impact all the other areas of your life including your career, relationships, and overall health.
Let me teach you how to surf the waves of life. Peace, purpose, and happiness are just ahead. Believe in a better tomorrow for yourself and take the plunge today.
